How long is a reasonable amount of time to wait to hear from listing agent on an a conventional offer?

Before I write up an offer I call listing agent to make sure property still available.\nIf available I send the offer then I text her and let her know is on the way.\nAnd I will ask her to confirm received. Listing Agent always does confirms.\nIf I don\'t hear from her in 24 hrs then I will call her.

What is the difference between “Option Pending” and “Pending”

The option period gives you the number of days to terminate the contract for any reason without loosing your Earnest money deposit.\nPending is after the option period has passed you can not terminate the contract.
